To help you understand all of the costs associated with cremation and make an informed decision, we’ve broken all cremation prices down in our general price list. We also have a variety of payment options to ease the financial burden of honoring your loved one so that you can give them the service they deserve. Why Preplan?

Preplanning allows you to make informed choices, while at the same time, relieve your family from the burden of managing difficult decisions on your behalf while under emotional and often financial stress.

With cremation prices in New Hampshire and Massachusetts reaching upwards of $2,500.00 these days, locking in $1330.00 now for cremation services down the road makes good sense and will protect your family from future inflation costs.

What to Do When a Death Occurs

We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. When a death occurs, please call us right away. Your family will be helped by one of our caring and compassionate funeral directors that will handle all the details in accordance with your wishes. Please note that payment is due in full prior to cremation being scheduled. For more details about what to do when a death occurs, please give us a call and we will be more than welcomed to give you answers.

 City and town welfare departments provide financial assistance for deceased residents who are indigent. It is the family’s responsibility to request for the assistance and the amount to be paid in a voucher. We will apply this amount towards our cremation fee of $1,000 offered to those in need. While some welfare departments pay $750.00. If the city or town payment does not cover the charges. We will work with you.

Easy Step-by-Step Planning Selection Guide

Charges are for those items that you selected, or that are required. If we are required by law, or by a cemetery or crematory to use any items, we will explain the reason in writing. Please take a moment to select the option you prefer from each category.

Our Services

Direct Cremation 

This is our simplest offering and is meant for those who just want simple cremation without any service or ceremony.

  • Services of Funeral Director and staff
  • Transfer of deceased from place of death into our care
  • Obtaining all necessary permits and authorizations
  • Filing death certificate and notifying Social Security
  • Sheltering and refrigeration prior to cremation

 Celebration of Life 

A gathering of family and friends, with or without a celebrant present, is a thoughtful way to celebrate the life of those who have passed. This  includes everything in our direct cremation, plus:

  • An urn of your choice
  • Use of our funeral home chapel or your preferred church within our service area, for a gathering and/or service, for up to two hours
  • Coordination and directing of the memorial service or gathering
  • Memorial package, includes: Register Book and 50 Prayer Cards 


This is for those men and women who have served our country.

This package includes everything in our direct cremation , plus:

  • An urn of your choice
  • Coordination and directing of a graveside service or gathering at a veterans or other local cemetery
  • Scheduling of military honors, including flag folding detail and Taps, conducted by military personnel (if desired)
  • Obtaining U.S. flag and weatherproof flag case 
  • Memorial package, includes: Register Book and 50 Prayer Cards 

Cemetery Gathering Graveside

A graveside service or gathering is a simple way to honor the memory of a life well lived. Our compassionate staff will make all the necessary cemetery arrangements for you.

This includes all the items in our direct cremation, plus:

  • Coordination and directing of a graveside service or gathering at a cemetery within our service area
  • Memorial package, includes: Register Book and 50 Prayer Cards 


General Price List

These prices are effective as of January 1, 2019 but are subject to change without notice

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

Cremation Services

All of our cremations include: basic services of licensed professionals and staff, transfer of remains anywhere in our service area NH and MA, Medical Examiner’s Fee, use of refrigeration for five days, cremation container and crematory fee. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The container we provide is a sturdy double wall corrugated cardboard container with wood bottom.

  • Cemetery Gathering Graveside - $2095.00
  • Cremation and Transportation of a Person of Size - $3000.00
  • Add $170.00 For any calls from MA, This covers the permits, Filling and added transportation.


  • Hand Delivery of Cremated Remains - No Charge
  • For those that want to be present for a cremation - No charge
  • Our professional, caring staff can come to your home to make arrangements - No charge
  • On line posting of obituary - No charge

Additional Fees not included in our packages


  • Out-of-State Services includes permits - $170.00
  • Additional Cremation Fee (For those over 350 pounds) - $300.00
  • Additional Transfer of Deceased person of size - $350.00
  • Additional Sheltering and Refrigeration (after five days) - $30.00 Per day
  • Crafting of Obituary - $120.00
  • Celebrant Services - $275.00
  • Use of hearse and driver - $375.00
  • Receiving of cremated remains - $350.00
  • Procurment of Certifed Copies of Death  - $50.00


Private Family Viewing - $300

Immediate family members may view the deceased privately for up to Two hours in our Chapel during normal business hours. Please inquire about evening and weekends. An additional preparation fee of $200 will apply when at autopsy is performed.

Use of Staff & Equipment

Includes coordinating and directing the service; and professional staff attendance and supervision.

  • For memorial Service at Church or Other Location - $450.00
  • For Cemetery Committal/Graveside Service - $450.00

Use of Facilities & Staff

Includes use and setup of gathering area or chapel; display of flowers; and professional staff attendance and supervision.

  • For Memorial Gathering (up to four hours) - $650.00
  • For Memorial Service in Our Chapel 3 hours - $450.00
  • Use of staff and facility per hour - $150.00

Cremation Merchandise Options


  • Upgraded Cremation Container (Composed of grey fiberboard with a one-piece cover and lined interior.)- $295.00
  • Cremation Urns from $75.00 to $500.00
  • Keepsakes, Pendants, and Jewelry from $50.00 to $300.00
  • Urn Vault from $145.00 to $795.00
  • Memorial Packages (Includes register book and 50 prayer cards.)- $175.00

Disposition Options

Shipment of Cremated Remains - $95.00

We will carefully package and ship the cremated remains via USPS Over night Mail to any domestic destination.

Release of Cremated Remains:

We will release cremated remains to the family, during normal business hours . After 30 days there will be a fee of $85.00 for sheltering and storage of cremated remains. This fee will be assessed per year or portion thereof.

 Payment Policy:  Is that the entire amount of the cremation, merchandise selected, services and cash advances must be paid prior to cremation taking place. We accept cash, personal and bank checks and credit cards as forms of payment. We are unable to accept settlement of estates through attorneys or probate court, as a means of financial arrangements. 

Cash Advances: This list does not include prices for certain items you may ask us to buy for you such as cemetery charges, newspaper notices, clergy fees, and music. The prices for those items will be shown on the statement of bill and goods and services you selected.
