The death of a loved one is an overwhelming time, whether it is expected or not. At Compassionate Cremation Services, we are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with a trained team of professionals ready to help you in any way you need. Your family will be helped by one of our caring and compassionate funeral directors that will handle all the details in accordance with your wishes.

City and town welfare departments provide financial assistance for deceased residents who are indigent. It is the family’s responsibility to request assistance and the amount to be paid in a voucher. We will apply this amount towards our cremation fee of $1,000 offered to those in need. While some welfare departments pay $750.00. If the city or town payment does not cover the charges. We will work with you.

A graveside service or gathering is a simple way to honor the memory of a life well lived. Our compassionate staff will make all the necessary cemetery arrangements for you.

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.
All of our cremations include: basic services of licensed professionals and staff, transfer of remains anywhere in our service area NH and MA, Medical Examiner’s Fee, use of refrigeration for five days, cremation container and crematory fee. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The container we provide is a sturdy double wall corrugated cardboard container with wood bottom.
Immediate family members may view the deceased privately for up to Two hours in our Chapel during normal business hours. Please inquire about evenings and weekends. An additional preparation fee of $200 will apply when an autopsy is performed.

Shipment of Cremated Remains - $95.00
We will carefully package and ship the cremated remains via USPS Overnight Mail to any domestic destination.
Release of Cremated Remains: We will release cremated remains to the family, during normal business hours. After 30 days there will be a fee of $85.00 for sheltering and storage of cremated remains. This fee will be assessed per year or portion thereof.
The entire amount of the cremation, merchandise selected, services and cash advances must be paid prior to cremation taking place. We accept cash, personal and bank checks and credit cards as forms of payment. We are unable to accept settlement of estates through attorneys or probate court, as a means of financial arrangements.
Cash Advances: This list does not include prices for certain items you may ask us to buy for you such as cemetery charges, newspaper notices, clergy fees, and music. The prices for those items will be shown on the statement of bill and goods and services you selected.
